Which Christmas Tree are you?


1.  Where do you buy your tree?
 I chop it down from the woods behind my house.
 I buy a pre-lit artificial tree from the department store.
 My family and I go out and pick out a live tree.
 I use a discounted artificial tree I bought on sale ten years ago.
 I don't buy a tree at all.
2.  What is your favorite ornament?
 Whatever ornament doesn't make the branch hang down too low.
 A Venetian art glass ornament I bought on vacation to Italy.
 An ornament made out of construction paper and pipe cleaners by my child.
 I don't have a favorite. Just the basic Christmas balls are fine.
 I don't have time to buy ornaments.
3.  Describe your tree decorating experience.
 We struggle to get the tree to stand up straight.
 We drink lattes and listen to jazz.
 We sing carols as a family and drink hot cocoa and egg nog.
 We put the tree up in a mad rush right before we head out to beat the crowds for Christmas shopping.
 I might help a friend decorate, but Christmas tree decorating at my house is no big deal.
4.  What do you place on top of the tree?
 We can't place anything on top because the tree is too flimsy.
 A hand-painted angel or snowman.
 A star handed down in the family for twenty years.
 Whatever is on sale.
 I don't place anything on top of my tree.
5.  How tall is your tree?
 About two feet and leaning.
 At least ten feet to fit under our cathedral ceiling.
 The size doesn't matter as long as the family likes it.
 Whatever size is cheapest and most convenient.
 Short enough that I don't have to bother with it.
6.  What is your favorite thing to do during the holiday season?
 Go hiking through the snowy woods.
 Shop in the biggest department stores.
 Spend time with my family.
 Just get through all of the craziness.
 I don't celebrate the holiday season.
7.  What is your favorite Christmas song?
 The Peanuts theme
 Something jazzy
 Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
 Whatever is playing on the 24-hour Christmas radio station
 There are no good Christmas songs.
8.  What is your favorite Christmas program?
 The Charlie Brown Christmas Special
 Anything new and artsy
 Frosty the Snow Man
 Whatever is playing on the television that night
 There are no good Christmas movies.
9.  What was the best present you ever received?
 Handmade socks.
 Crystal wine glasses
 A homemade card from my child
 Something I could take back
 I've never received a good present.
10.  When do you usually take down your tree?
 Whenever it falls over or dies.
 Whenever I tell my maid to clean it up.
 When my family and I can get together and pack it all up.
 Whenever I can find the time after returning presents and cleaning up.
 I don't need to take it down.
