If you travel back in time, what year would you travel to and why?

I would go back to 1984. It was the year before I got married (I was only 16). Before the responsibilities of marriage and children. I moved from WV to Fort Bragg, NC. I'd never been out of WV and I knew no one. I got lost the first time I tried to drive from the base to my home. But, I got pregnant two years later and had a beautiful baby girl. 1984 was the last year my husband and I had together alone.

I'd go back to 1939 so that I could live through WW2 and see for myself just how much people were willing to give up and sacrifice for their country. And so that I could fight for my people and my country of adoption (England) as well as my country of birth (R. of Ireland).

I HAD A DREAM..........If I could travel back in time, I would have loved to ,have been amongst the hundreds of thousands who listened to the late GREAT MARTIN LUTHER KING JR , although I was old enough at the time, travelling to the US from the UK was impossible.

I would go back to when Michael Jackson was still alive and meet him. I'd also like to go many other places, too though . . .
