With the success of the 5,000th post contest it's now time to look toward the next big milestone, the 10,000th post. Seeing as this will double the number of posts on the board I have decided it's only fitting to double the prizes and double the amount of winners.
To make it even more fun I have added a new twist. This time there will be 2 winners. $25 (PayPal or Amazon Gift Certificate) will be given to the person who posts the 10,000th post AND ALSO $25 (PayPal or Amazon Gift Certificate) will be given to the person that created the thread the 10,000th post was made in, so if you create a thread and the 10,000th post in made in that thread, you will win $25 as well as the 10,000th post author.
Double the prizes, Double the winners, Double the Fun.
Here are the rules.
- $25 will be given to the person posting the 10,000th post (you can choose either PayPal or an Amazon.com gift certificate).
- $25 will be given to the person who created the thread the 10,000th post was written in (you can choose either PayPal or an Amazon.com gift certificate).
- The 10,000th post will be determined by the number of live posts in the database (not the post id). The current count is at the bottom of the main forums page.
- The same person can not win both prizes, if you make the 10,000th post and created the thread the 10,000th post was made in, you will only win the prize for the 10,000th post.
- In the event the 10,000th poster created the winning thread or the winning thread was created by myself (Webmaster) the prize for the winning thread will be awarded to the 10,001st message post or the next post made by someone other than the 10,000th poster.
- No spamming. This means no posting of junk over and over again, spammy posts will be removed.
- Everyone is eligible from moderators through to Junior Members (except me).
Start posting now, remember, the more threads you start the more chances you have of winning, but no spamming!
